The winners of the Taxidermy Association of Ireland Virtual Game Fair Championships have been announced, as follows:
Professional Bird Class and Overall Champion: Martin Bourne with ‘Diving Kingfisher’
Novice Bird Class Michael O’Neill: with ‘Hooded Crow on Skull’
Professional Mammal Class Mick Bates with ‘Chamois’
Novice Mammal Class Sharon Slattery: with ‘Grey Squirrel’
Martin Bourne, the overall champion, was presented with a bronze trophy to mark his achievement and celebrate his beautiful diving kingfisher. All winners also received an engraved hip flask. Look out for their prize-winning work in the next edition of Irish Country Sports and Country Life magazine.
