The Ramble Inn

Country Pub, Restaurant and Banqueting Suites

An old Coaching Inn, which dates back to the early 1800’s when it was in the hands of the Wilson family. Over the decades they and other landlords worked tirelessly to ensure that this roadside landmark became a must stop for weary travellers and rural communities for light refreshments and groceries.

Now as we begin 2016, this once famous hostelry has returned from closure and neglect to proudly stand out once again with all its former glory as the recognisable and popular landmark on the Ballymena – Antrim carriageway. Under the new management of local family the McLarnon’s who have been in business for over 50 years, The Ramble Inn has been beautifully restored showcasing a country cottage and barn feel which underlines its Country Pub and restaurant theme.

Ideally located less than a mile from the M2, northward bound from Antrim, the venue has already become once again a must stop for day trippers, shoppers, tourists, business people and local families alike.

With an open fire and stove for those cold winter evenings, the inn exudes a warm and cosy atmospehere. Plush red furnishings, wooden floors, old beams and white washed walls where a plethora of black and white photographs remind us of a bygone era.
