Schalk made some sausages for his son’s birthday party and it was the best ‘boerewors’ we’d ever tasted. It was then that we decided to start a business, as some of the party-goers asked for a 10kg weekly order. The four of us teamed up and we quickly realized that we should share the delicious flavours of home while using the wonderful produce Ireland has to offer, bringing that authentic taste, with an Irish flair. Great things happen when cultures collide!
Our coiled sausages, burgers and meatballs consist of a 100-year-old, South African, recipe in combination with Irish beef. It is a taste you won’t find anywhere else. There is no added gluten & rusk. High in protein and delicious.
