Our business has been in existence for over 40 years. We started off running commercial clay pigeon shoots in 1977 and by 1979 we were manufacturing clay pigeon targets in our factory at John Street, Ardee along with importing traps and shooting accessories.

Despite giving up manufacturing in 1984, the original factory continued to house our growing business for a total of 19 years. We began importing and distributing firearms in 1981 and over the years, we have built up a large range of firearms, ammunition, clothing and shooting accessories

We built our current premises at Pepperstown, Ardee, in 1997 and continued working on different aspects of our business. From 2004 we have hosted the NARGC All Ireland National Clay Shoot 7 times.

More recently we began developing our retail outlet where we aim to offer the best selection of shotguns and rifles, both new and second hand, so whether you are new to shooting or a seasoned pro, you will find something to suit you at Ardee Sports.
