The Holiday & Tourism Pavilion is Sponsored by Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council

Foreword from the Mayor, Councillor Billy Webb MBE JP

Over the years, the Irish Game Fair at Shane’s Castle has contributed vastly to raising the profile of the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough as a tourist destination and I am delighted to support this year’s adaptation of the event, The Virtual Game Fair.

The Virtual Game Fair will run throughout 2021 and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers for bringing country sports to life with ‘The Game Fair you can visit every day’.

As sponsors of the Tourism Pavilion, the Virtual Game Fair provides the Council with an opportunity to showcase the Borough’s tourism attractions, activities and accommodation and attract visitors throughout the year. The Fair will be a real asset to allow visitors to explore a range of virtual exhibits including country sports, angling, fine food and drink and game keeping.

I also look forward to welcoming many of you to our Borough for the return of the traditional Irish Game Fair at Shane’s Castle on 25 and 26 June 2022. Our Borough remains open for business and I would like to encourage you all to explore the staycation opportunities on offer.
